Cleveland (Will) Rock Again!

16: vs Golden State: L, 114-82, 1-15
29 for Curry, 28 for Lee.

17: @ Milwaukee: L, 109-101, 1-16
We're having a historically terrible start. 3 Bucks score 20+ tonight.

18: vs New York: L, 99-93, 1-17
The fans made themselves heard tonight. This team needs a spark. After the game I pulled Coach Jent aside and "suggested" he make some changes to turn this thing around.

19: vs Indiana: W, 111-98, 2-17
Changes were made. Parker and Hollins entered the starting lineup, Graham and a struggling Hickson were benched, and we respond with a great pick-me-up victory. Davis led the way with 27 and 11.

20: @ Charlotte: L, 93-87, 2-18
We kept it close, but fell short. 26 for Stephen Jackson.

21: vs Toronto: L, 118-115, 2-19
This is the game that finally got me moving. The Raptors were 3-16 coming in, and got us on our home court. Experts were pointing to the '73 76ers squad that went 9-73. I didn't like that. I handed an ultimatum to Coach Jent. Win two of the next four or he was out. It goes against my philosophy but I figured this was an exception. I also plan to make a trade to hopefully land a big-time scorer, a legit go-to guy, as neither Davis nor Terry are the answer.

22: @ Philadelphia: L, 100-78, 2-20
The flames are licking Coach Jent's rear end...

23: vs Philadelphia: L, 113-88, 2-21
Chris Jent's coaching career will appear to be short-lived. At least his salary is really small...

24: @ Atlanta: W, 97-80, 3-21
We shock the hell out of the Hawks, who were burned by former Hawk Jet Terry for 27 points. Maybe its an aberration. Our next game is on the road against 0-24 Minnesota. We should win back to back games for the first time.

25: @ Minnesota: W, 98-86, 4-21
Its not all bad in Cleveland. Heck, we could be Minnesota who falls to 0-25 on the year. 25 straight losses. That entire franchise is in turmoil.

Cleveland: G Jamal Crawford
Atlanta: G Jason Terry, G Manny Harris

This is basically a lateral move. Crawford and Terry's stats are near identical, but Crawford is an expiring and is a bit more aggressive on offense. Terry goes back to where his career started.

26: @ Denver: L, 100-73, 4-22
Crawford scores 17 in his debut as Denver crushes us.

27: @ Oklahoma City: W, 78-76, 5-22
Wow. After one quarter its 34-16 OKC and they're on the way to a blowout. Suddenly, their offense quits, and over the next 36 minutes we chip away at a 20 point deficit, finally stunning the Thunder in the final seconds as a Jamal Crawford miss is tipped in at the buzzer by Anderson Varejao. Kevin Durant is absolutely stunned at half-court. Davis led with 13 points, and Varejao snatched 19 boards.

28: vs Houston: W, 105-102, 6-22
15 and 13 for Andy, 16 and 11 for B-Dizzle, and 21 from Parker who hit 5 threes for our second winning streak of the season,

29: vs Washington: W, 109-92, 7-22
A three-game win streak!!! Varejao is on a tear, as he puts in 21 and 18 with five steals. Crawford has his best game as a Cav with 22 points. The loss drops the Wizards to 2-25.

30: vs Miami: W, 118-96, 8-22
No need to explain. Every person in Cleveland is either at the arena or staring at a TV as LeBron returns...and gets humiliated!!! B-Dizzle erupted with this stat line: 30 points, 14 assists, 7 rebounds, 5 steals. Varejao poured in 20. And Daniel Gibson came off the bench to bury 7 threes and score 23 points as the Heat are chased off the court. Four straight, and the hot-seat has cooled for Coach Jent. This win alone should save him for the season.

December Review

Miami (23-6) and Boston (25-7) are jostling for position at the top. Deron Williams has led New Jersey to a 22-8 record, and Philly is still strong at 20-9. Orlando is 15-15 without Dwight Howard. We're third worst, ahead of Toronto and Washington.

The West is ruled by the Lakers at 25-5. New Orleans is 22-5, and Dallas is 24-6. The Wolves are still winless at 0-29!!!

PPG: Kevin Durant, OKC 30.4
RPG: Amare Stoudemire, NY 13.5
APG: Deron Williams, NJ 11.4
SPG: Monta Ellis, GS 2.3
BPG: Andrew Bogut, MIL 3.0

MVP: Williams, NJ
DPOY: Stoudemire
ROY: Evan Turner, PHI
6th: Jared Dudley, PHX
Coach: Avery Johnson, NJ
MIP: Anthony Morrow, NJ

Chicago has a busy month, first by trading their 1st rounder to Denver for G Arron Afflalo in order to fix their SG woes, then by signing the legendary Allen Iverson. D-Rose and AI together in the Chicago backcourt? Wow.

I can't remember a team as bad as the Wolves. 0-29, that's madness. I wonder how bad they will be. Takes the pressure off your Cavs for the time being.
