Hungry Like the Wolf

November 2017

The team went 12-3, they started out 7-0. This was a fantastic month for most of the team, McDermott is shooting nearly 60% from the field and he is a guard. Hopefully the team stays healthy and continues on this pace.

December 2017

Postby brutusbrutus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:44 am

The Timberwolves did not lose in December, at this point they have won 17 in a row. Many commentators have made the remark that the Timberwolves are the front runners to win the championship this year. I believe it is too early to tell and the injury bug and fatigue of the season has yet to take its toll.

December 2017 the greatest month in Timberwolves history!

Febuary 2018

Postby brutusbrutus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:00 am

The Timberwolves are now 47-10 in this absolutely epic season. David McDermott is having a career year scoring 23 a game on less minutes than previous years and at a record .635 TS%. If the season ended now the Timberwolves would make the playoffs with the amount of wins they have already accumulated.

In the D-League

Postby brutusbrutus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:03 am

Donnell Greer is scoring 27.5 points a game on amazing shooting and has proven that he is the best player in the D-League system. Currently Donnell Greer is out for the last two months of the regular season with a broken leg he suffered during a fast break. Doctors have assured the team that the break wasn't severe enough to be career threatening. Meanwhile Wayne Willis is showing the team he is mature and has enough defense to contribute to the NBA club.

Shand-De Teoh with a tripple double

Postby brutusbrutus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:06 am

Teoh scored 16 and grabbed 10 boards along with 10 assists he also blocked a shot and had 5 steals. This was in a win against the Hornets. Teoh has flirted with a triple double on countless occasions but this is the first time he has achieved this allusive goal of his.

March 2018

Postby brutusbrutus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:11 am

The Timberwolves have won 60 games for the first time in Franchise history. They are 61-12 at the end of the month. For the last few games David McDermott will rest his bruised calf so he will be ready to play in the playoffs for which the Timberwolves have already clinched the no. 1 seed.

April 2018

The Timberwolves finished the season 68-14 making them tied with the 4th best record in NBA history. They are the clear favorites to win the NBA championship. I knew this team was good coming into this season, but I had no idea how good.
