Notes
 • Tough loss. PRIN had a 7-0 run in the last 40 seconds. Can't blame SG Gareth Clark though, as he carried our offense the whole game. But man, we have got to hit those free throws in future games
 • We did a better job on off rebounding, and scoring 2nd chance pts, today as compared to our last game
 • Good effort by the team. I'm sure the lessons they learned on this close game will serve them better in the upcoming games

well to start with, if you pay the full fare, it will drain your wallet of about $250,000 for the 4 years you'll be there.

I have a friend sending his daughter to Iowa St. as a non-resident... even that is 40k a year tuition. I remember back 150 years ago when I was a student at a state school. Tuition was a nickel a year, and room and board in the dorms was free if you sang a song. My how times have changed.

Nov 23, 1962: Delaware St (1-1) @ Missouri St (0-1)

1st Half
SG Gareth Clark shooting slump continues, 1-5 FG, but has made up on the defensive end getting 3 stls. Up 14-8, 14:01. Our differential of -6 in turn overs, and +4 off rebounds meant we're getting way more opportunities than MOST. But we're not taking much advantage of them, shooting 39% FG and 0-4 FT. Up 15-10, 11:29. MOST connected on a couple of 3s, while we got most of our pts from the FT line. Up 28-25, 3:53. MOST connected on 3 more triples, as they ended the half on a good run.
Halftime, Down 32-36
 • Key stat: MOST's shooting, 52% FG and 5-11 3 PT
 • We got the FT line more, but missed 6 of them
 • Top performer(s): DELST - SF Caleb Carlisle is the only consistent offensive threat we have so far in this game, 14 pts, 6-7 FG
 • We need to do a better job defensive. Increasing def intensity to 7
2nd Half
MOST hit 2 more triples, but we're hanging in there. Down 40-43, 15:15. We came up empty in 7 of our last 8 possession, 4 of which resulted in turn overs. Down 42-47, 10:52. We tied the game at 49 on a ini 5-0 run, and has kept the score close since then. Down 55-58, 3:41. Teams traded pts. MOST turned it over on their last possession, and SG Gareth Clark connects on a drive in our last play

Down 59-60, 2:10

MOST: Their C shoots a 16 footer. Very hard to defend that. Down 3
DELST: SG Gareth Clark travels. Turn over #14 for us (9 in the 2nd half)
MOST: A miss
DELST: They foul. 7th team. 1-and-1 for PF Marcus Campbell. Campbell splits. Down 2, 1:08
MOST: Their C hits a short jumper again. Down 4. Timeout

0:50, Down 60-64

We dont need a 3. We go 2-for-1

DELST: They foul SG Gareth Clark while attempting a shot. 2 FTs. Clark hits both. Down 2. 0:44
MOST: A dagger 3 by their starting SG who prior to that shot, was scoreless on 0-4 FG. Down 5. Timeout

Down 62-67, 0:32

Go for 3. M2M press. Foul

Missed a 3. Another tough loss

Notes
 • Good even to end our 3-game road swing, with a win against our state rivals. Key here is SG Gareth Clark spending more time on the floor and keeping himself out of foul trouble

1st Half
We jumped off to an 11-0 lead, before UTSA opened up their scoring. Up 13-6, 14:58. UTSA cut the lead to 5 a couple of times, but we got easy transition baskets because of UTSA's 7 turn overs. Up 25-14, 8:26. UTSA cut down the lead to 8 with a 3, but we answered back with a 3 of our own. Up 32-21, 3:58. Both team's shooting has gone cold towards the end of the half, but we scored some FTs to add to our output

 • Key stat: Rebounds, UTSA-11, DELST-17. UTSA has only 2 2nd chance pts
 • Top performer(s): DELST - Gareth Clark 9 pts, but only 3-12

SG Gareth Clark, who at one point was 4-17 FG, converted his last 3 shots including a 3. Up 51-36, 11:14. • SG Gareth Clark had a good all-around game, and got plenty of scoring support from the other players
