Darius Dunn yearns to return to Wyoming. He gets a junior high teaching job in Cheyenne.

Alexander Forney—after playing some JC ball, then not playing his junior year and becoming a walk-on his senior year, Alexander gets married right after graduation and takes a job in L.A. working for a sports agency.

Ali Lyde finishes his 2 years at CSU Bakersfield with a 4.0 GPA. He gets accepted into a graduate program at UNLV in geology. It's possible he will be drafted in this summer’s pro draft, though.

This will be my 5th season with the Roadrunners. I'm excited since I believe the team is continuing to strengthen. We should be stronger at every position other than possibly at PF.

I’m now 32 years old. There were no changes to my contract, so I’m still earning $84,000/yr and have 3 years remaining. My ratings are now:
Offense—48 (+5), Defense—47 (+5), Recruiting—36 (no change), Scouting—29 (+1), Player Development—52 (+5), Reputation—17 (+4), Job Security—100 (no change).

My coaching record after 4 years as a head coach at CSU Bakersfield is 75-46 (.620) with 2 conference titles, 2 NCAA appearance, 1 20-win season, 1 Conference Coach of the Year award, 6 All-conference players, and 3 All-American players.

Scott Roberts, my 1st assistant, will continue to be in charge of player development. His player development rating increased to 67 (+3) and his reputation increased to 12 (+2). He’s now 60 years old and has 3 years left on his contract.

Larry McIntyre, my 2nd assistant, did a good job recruiting last year and his recruiting rating increased to 51 (+4). His reputation remained rated as a 9. He’s 66 years old and has 2 years left on his contract.

Greg Dye, my 3rd assistant will continue to handle our scouting duties. His scouting rating is 54 (+2) and his reputation remains rated as a 9. He is 63 years old and has 4 years remaining on his contract.

Jerell came in highly rated and hasn’t disappointed. He’s led our team all 3 years he’s been here and been a 2nd team All-American each year. The guy will be a high pick in next year’s pro draft. His rebounding, defense, and ball-handling continue to develop nicely, but looking over his statistics, his shooting percentage (both for 3-point shots and overall FG attempts) remain rather low (under 40% for FG overall and about 33% for 3’s). I decide to call him in and ask him to work more on his shot selection and work on driving to the basket more to not only help us, but improve his shooting percentage and expand his abilities for the pro game. He’s always had exceptional talent and has never really had to work hard on his game, so he’s very resistant and I doubt he will do much with my suggestion.

PF Ali Lyde is drafted in the 2nd round by Philadelphia. He’s assigned to the Development League. He’s postponing his graduate studies to try to play his way into the NBA.
