Final 4
- (1) #3 Kansas St def (1) #1 North Carolina, 73-55

Championship
- (1) #4 Michigan def (5) #3 Kansas St, 71-63

Michigan wins their 1st ever NCAA national championship

I also congratulated my former assistant, and now head coach at Sam Houston St., Mike Paige, for a good tournament run. Many were surprised by their performance, but I'm not one of them. They have a good group of players, many of them I was able to coach last season. I wished Mike that he can continue building a good program.
