This was a back and forth game most of the way. We led 40-38 at the half. We were able to pull ahead at the end to get the win. Lewis had 16 pts. Smith had 15 pts. O'Kelley had 14 pts.

Dec 26 Long Island 6-4 @ Central Arkansas 9-1
Our final non conference contest is an easy one. Our defense holds them to 35% shooting while we shot 53%. We led 38-27 at halftime. We cruised for a win the second half. Lopez had 15 pts, 3 stls, 3 blks. Lewis had 12 pts. O'Kelley had 10 pts.
Final score: Central Arkansas 70 Long Island 52

I expected an easy win against the Mavs, but they gave us quite a battle. The difference in the game was ball control. They turned it over 25 times to our 8. Even with all their turnovers I stayed with us. We led 36-35 at half. We managed to play well enough to win our first conference game. Lopez had 25 pts. O'Kelley had 16 pts. Smith had 12 pts, 10 rebs. Lewis had 10 pts.
Final score: Central Arkansas 75 Nebraska-Omaha 70

Everything went our way this game. We led 45-27 at halftime. Our good play continued in the second half. Lopez had 22 pts, 3 blks. O'Kelley had 16 pts. Lewis had 14 pts.

The Eagles led after a tough half 35-32. We rallied and play like we are capable the second half. Lewis had 21 pts. Lopez had 12 pts.
