Season Summary
Well, what a year it was! After an expected disappointing non-conference showing, including kicking off the season by getting blown out by a lowly Long Island team, the Leathernecks started winning games when it counted in the conference play, beating a formidable IUPUI team in double-OT and continuing to keep among the ranks of the top of the standings, only dropping both games to a very tough IPFW team. They dropped off production towards the end, with three straight loss in winnable games, but finished the season with a win to go into the Conference Tournament, where they met the tough IPFW team in the semifinals. While both teams battled hard, the Leathernecks were down by 5 at the end of one half. Then, the Leathernecks dominated the second half to win by a sound ten points and to play an unexpected Oakland team. While they had a scare, they took the win in overtime and went to the CCAA tourney, against the Cincinnati Bearcats. While showing much heart, they were just to slow and couldn't handle Cincinnati, in a game that ended a great season.

Thanks, but do you know how I could better format the game summaries? (the really messy part that you can't really read that well)

It's never easy to do. I do more of a narrative. Better? Worse? I don't know. I got through it. PG's around. He does a dynasty. Maybe he has some ideas.

Congrats on getting to the big dance.

Did recruit Emmanuel Johnson who had a 2.1 GPA in HS get a qualifying SAT score (880 or better)? If so, phew because guys with that low of a GPA often don't.

Re formatting...if you want to keep the same general format, you could just bold-face the game date and opponent for each game by using right behind what you want bold-faced and just ahead of what you want bold-faced and leave the score, record and top player info un-bolded.

That will cause the game info to look like this:

12/4
@UCLA

58-67
5-3
Bob Fredericks, 17 pts, 7 reb, 4 assists.
12/7
Northwestern

72-70 (OT)
6-3
Kendrick Parsons, 22 pts, 7 assists, 4 steals.
