With no high profile coaches retiring this season, the most enticing jobs Gary is offered are 1st assistant jobs at UConn and Arizona, but Gary is nobody's assistant, and would decide to stay at UNM and maybe someday somehow manage to get a 1 seed in the tournament. Interestingly, Air Force fired their head coach after yet another NCAA tournament, and tried to get Gary to come to the dark side, to which he replied, "are you freakin' crazy?" After Gary Declined, the Falcons decided to give Ty King another contract which I'm sure made him feel very special.
