We beat 3 tough teams

Postby Wayne23 » Sun Aug 18, 2013 2:42 am

Three tough road games coming up. At #13, 8-2 Georgia Tech. Very strong back court. 4 guys who can really play.

12/19: They never led but they stayed close for a long time, 83-69.

+17, -13 (21 TOs), 64-44%.

56, 14, 1, 1, 1 for Ali, 9, 4, 2 for Camp.

At #8 Michigan State, 10-3. Just beat #3 Arizona but a couple of bad losses. Very good inside game but not strong at guard.

12/22: 90-74. They were all over us early and led by 13 at the half and then 16 early in the 2nd. Then Ali scored 11 straight and we were on our way. Interestingly enough their backcourt gave us fits. Didn’t expect that.

+2, -3, 63-49%, fouls 13-26.

58, 10, 3, 4, 2 for Ali, 7, 8, 1, 1, 1 for Camp, 13 for Smog.

Last pre-conf. game is at #7 North Carolina, 9-2. One bad loss, one terrible loss, only one game vs. a top 25 team. They score lots of points outside but have trouble taking care of the ball.

12/26: 98-73, Never a game, we led by 42 at one point.

+6, even, 74-54%.

62, 9, 5, 0, 1 for Ali, 8, 5, 4 for Camp, 9, 2, 3 for Lamb, 9, 3, 1 for Fark. Their SG had 33.

15-0, beat 8 ranked teams, 5 top 10 including #1.
