Chronicles of the 2013 Draft Round II

Postby zike_42 » Sat Jul 13, 2013 8:03 pm

I'm really enjoying this thread, it's very different. Man the Suns suck, it seems that they haven't won 30 games since the start. And damn, The Name shooting 30% from the field and gets $59 million? Time for another lock out.
New PB4 dynasty, and it's multiplayer!

Thanks! It's been really fun to watch each of the players careers play out.

And yeah the Suns have been just awful.
Here's their year-by-year records:
2012 22-60
2013 20-62
2014 27-55
2015 20-62
2016 29-53
2017 25-57
They *almost* got 30 in 2016

Haha! "The Name" is actually a paradoxically good three point shooter (46%) but he cannot make a mid-range jump-shot to save his life. (His tendencies are ~ 10% post 80% mid and 10% three)

Steals: 0.8
Blocks: 1.5

Minutes: 33.3
Games Played/Started 75/68

Chris Walker was having another average season on his crappy raptors until he broke his leg 6 games before the end of the season, Walker had surgery, but it is not certain if he will return with the same explosiveness he previously had.

Roderick Corner
Charlotte Hornets 58-24
Power Forward
26 Years Old

Season Stats:

Roderick had a slow start to his season with several minor injuries slowing him down and causing him to miss yet another all star game, Conrner had a very strong second-half and helped the Hornets reach the conference finals (5 times and counting) before yet again losing to Lebron Jame and Chris Paul's Pistons.

McKnight finally became a all-star, the third of this draft class. He also helped the Kings reached the conference finals before being knocked out by the Los Angeles Clippers.

Green got the increase in minutes he's asked for for several years and he was a good running mate with Anthony Davis. The Pelicans were knocked out in the second round.

Corey Allaway

2019-2020 Season

Chris Walker
Toronto Raptors 20-62
Small Forward
26 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 12.6
Assists: 1.5
Rebounds: 6.8
Steals: 0.8
Blocks: 1.3
Turnovers: 1.5
Minutes: 34.0
Games Played/Started: 82/77

Chris Walker returned from his broken leg and showed that he didn't lose much if any athleticism from the injury. Also on a side note the Raptors have not won more that 33 games since Walker was drafted.

Roderick Corner
Charlotte Hornets 51-31
Power Forward
27 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 24.1
Assists: 1.1
Rebounds: 12.1
Steals: 0.6
Blocks: 0.0
Turnovers: 2.4
Minutes: 36.8
Games Played/Started: 29/29

Corner got of to a career start through 29 games, but then everything changed. Corner blew out his ACL on a routine offensive rebound. Without Corner the Hornets crumpled in the first round. Corner has dedicated himself to coming back stronger than ever and will most likely return before the start of next season.

Mike Madsen
Phoenix Suns 45-37
Power Forward
28 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 12.9
Assists: 0.9
Rebounds: 4.0

Turnovers: 1.4
Minutes: 23.3
Games Played/Started: 82/29

Playoff Stats:
Points: 12.0
Assists: 1.3
Rebounds: 3.8
Steals: 0.5
Blocks: 0.5
Turnovers: 0.3
Minutes: 24.0
Games Played/Started: 4/0

Madsen stayed on the bench for the majority of the season and it has been leaked that he a coach Tom Thibodeau butted heads several times, this is
surprising since Thibodeau led the Suns to a 45-37 season and their first playoff berth since this dynasty began.

John Bosl
Orlando Magic 51-31
Shooting Guard
29 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 25.3
Assists: 4.5

Blocks: 1.1
Turnovers: 2.7
Minutes: 40.0
Games Played/Started: 15/15

Awards:
Long Distance Shootout Participant
All-Star Starter
All-NBA 1st Team

Bosl continued to show that he is the best shooting guard in the league and has become, at this point, the most decorated player from the 2013 draft, and he was the one who was shafted by Lebrons pistons this year. (iirc Lebron has 8 rings). Bosl should have at least 3 mores years at his peak.

Chris McKnight
Sacramento Kings 47-35
Small Forward
29 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 18.5
Assists: 1.8
Rebounds: 5.8

Rebounds: 5.0
Steals: 1.8
Blocks: 0.5
Turnovers: 2.3
Minutes: 42.0
Games Played/Started: 4/4

McKnight continued to lead the Kings, along with Demarcus Cousins, and made the playoffs for the 4th straight year. Like Bosl, McKnight has about 3 years left at his peak, and hopefully the Lebron Juggernaut will be lifted and that some player from this draft class will win a ring.

Calvin Green
New Orleans Pelicans 50-32
Center
28 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 14.1
Assists: 1.1
Rebounds: 6.0
Steals: 1.0

Point Guard
26 Years Old

Steals: 0.5

Continued his stint in the big apple and showed that he has developed into a very good point guard.

Paul Karcher
Portland Trailblazers 49-33
Point Guard
27 Years Old

Season Stats:
Points: 11.4
Assists: 8.7
Rebounds: 4.4

Minutes: 32.5
Games Played/Started: 80/79

Playoff Stats:
Points: 9.6
Assists: 9.6
Rebounds: 7.6
Steals: 1.2
Blocks: 0.0
Turnovers: 3.0
Minutes: 36.0
Games Played/Started: 5/5

Karcher has stated that he loves it in Rip City and that he doesn't plan on going anywhere anytime soon. He play brings about memories of Rajon Rondo in his youth. In fact he almost averaged a triple double in the Blazers first round elimination.

Atjasz Stariczack
New Orleans Pelicans 50-32

Rebounds: 11.4
Steals: 0.5
Blocks: 0.5
Turnovers: 1.2
Minutes: 39.6
Games Played/Started: 12/12

The Name fell back down to 31% from the field and his postseason average is even worse, 28.8%.

Bruce McGee

Contract News

Postby SkylineXC » Sun Jul 14, 2013 1:03 am

I overlooked Corey Allaway's contract extension with the Knicks.
Back in 2018 he signed a 5-year, 53 million dollar contract to return to the Knicks.

Also over the 2020 free agency Paul Karcher signed a 4-year 17.3 million dollar extension with Portland.

And Bruce McGee was not signed to a contract and will return to the D-League for the third straight year
