The Seattle Supersonics. A Franchise Reborn.

All-Star Break 2016

Seattle Record:
34-21 5th in the West

Seattle struggled at the start of the season with Gerald Wallace and Al Horford going down with injuries and missing a good chunk of time. Sitting at 7-10 something clicked for the Sonics going 27-11 to come into the break 13 games over .500.

Derek Fuhs and Luc Richard Mbah A Moute were traded for Luol Deng of the Chicago Bulls. Mbah A Moutes rebounding wasn’t needed due to Paul George’s exceptional rebounding and A Moute was shooting well under 40% so I decided to go for more outside shooting.

Paul George was Seattle's lone All-Star

You must have been sweating out that 7-game series. Congrats!

By the way, how did LeBron get to Orlando?

Lebrons contract must have expired or he opted out of it and signed with Orlando for a max contract this past free agency.

Next round the Sonics will be facing the 65-17 Nuggets, so they'll be in for a tough series for sure!

No reason to hang your head after making the 2nd round in just the team's 3rd season in existence.

Yeah, I think getting to the second round was good, another step forward. We were greatly over matched against Denver, they have 2-3 starting caliber players on their bench.
