Rebounds: 5.6
Steals: 1.6
Blocks: 0.4

Bergig struggled mightily on offense, but every other facet of his game is above average for a point guard.

2015 Sophomore Game Starter

Shooting Guard:

Andre Tiggs
Utah 40-42
23 Years Old
Drafted #5

Games (Started): 77 (48)
Points: 9.6
Assists: 1.9
Rebounds: 2.3

Blocks: 0.2
Turnovers: 1.3
Minutes: 24.9
Field Goal: 41.9%
3 Point: 35.6%
Free Throw: 90.6%

Tiggs lost the starting job midway through the season, but his stats held steady with his rookie campaign. Looks to be a bit of a bust at the #5 pick.

2015 Sophomore Game Reserve

Kevin Davis
Atlanta 27-55
20 Years Old
Drafted #11

Games (Started): 78 (78)
Points: 5.7

Turnovers: 1.2
Minutes: 21.7
Field Goal: 40.4%
3 Point: 38.7%
Free Throw: 77.4%

Atlanta wasn’t competitive so they decided to start the raw Kevin Davis to give him experience at the NBA level. Showed some flashes of becoming a viable player in the future.

Small Forwards:

Bobby Moore
Sacramento 37-45
21 Years Old
Drafted #2

Games (Started): 82 (76)
Points: 10.9

Minutes: 27.7
Field Goal: 49.4%
3 Point: 36.5%
Free Throw: 67.8%

Moore greatly improved his passing in the offseason and plays and all around solid game. Even though he doesn’t rack up defensive stats, he is a great wing defender.

2015 Sophomore Game Reserve

Mark Heide
Charlotte 32-50
23 Years Old
Drafted #4

Games (Started): 82 (78)
Points: 16.3

Turnovers: 2.0
Minutes: 34.0

Heide scores a bit inefficiently, but is well on his way to becoming a top notch wing in the NBA.

Averaged a double double for the season. 6th in the league in rebounding. Showing the benefits of staying all four years in college by lighting the NBA on fire over his first two seasons. Not the most efficient offensive player, if he can raise his shooting percentage he will be a dominant big in the NBA.

Didn't even know Prairie View or Morgan State even existed before this, but that didn't stop them from both having lottery pick players!:)

Victor Flint is one of the best defensive bigs in the NBA. He also rebounds the ball well and plays effectively on offense. In his sophomore season he blew out his Achilles ending that season prematurely, and making the next season all about recovery. Now he has come back and even surpassed his pervious form and finally got recognized for his defensive efforts. He has spent all 4 of his seasons in Phoenix. Hopefully he can quell concerns over his extreme height making him injury prone. Flint has become a borderline all-star, and wasn’t a bad pick at all at #1, not the best, but still good.

Moore is a top notch perimeter defender and all around great player, although his defensive contributions don’t always show up in the box score. He can dribble, pass, shoot, rebound, he can do it all. Sacramento has often ran him as a point forward, and it was fairly successful. In short, Moore is an all around versatile player who if he finishes developing, could become an all star eventually.

After four years Luke Scott has been the most successful of the rookie class. A two time all-star and a dominant low post presence. He also rebounds the ball amazingly and is a fan favorite in Toronto and around the NBA. He spent four years in college and came to the NBA a complete player. A sieve on the defensive end, but it is often overlooked due to his offensive proficiency. All-NBA nods and more All-Star games appear to be an almost certainty for Scott.

Heide has played well even though he has been playing shooting guard while Lebron starts at Small Forward for the Bobcats. (Yes, Lebron signed with Charlotte!) Heide is an above average rebounder, passer, defender, ball-thief, and scorer. He scores fairly inefficiently at only 40% from the field and under 30% from three for his career. If he takes a step or two forward he may well be an all star in the future. Played all four years with Charlotte
