Seattle Reborn

Basically everyone - my two best defenders are Tobias Harris and Chris Singleton; everyone else is pretty underwhelming on that side of the ball. Beal has the potential to develop into a borderline-elite defender but that will take some time. My defense will probably not improve much until I improve my front court.

SG Bradley Beal – 19 PTS, 6 REB
PG Damian Lillard – 16 PTS, 5 AST, 7 REB
PF Marreese Speights – 13 PTS, 8 REB

Seattle Speed (2-9) @ Utah Blues (4-4)

SG Bradley Beal – 15 PTS, 3 STL

Minnesota Coyotes (4-3) @ Seattle Speed (2-10)
MIN 117, SEA 101

PG Damian Lillard – 14 PTS, 5 AST
PF Marreese Speights – 14 PTS, 6 REB

Seattle Speed (2-11) @ New Orleans Wasps (4-9)
SEA 103, NO 116
SG Bradley Beal – 27 PTS, 3 AST, 5 REB
PG Damian Lillard – 18 PTS, 10 AST, 7 REB
C Jeremy Tyler – 16 PTS, 8 REB

Seattle Speed (2-12) @ Las Vegas Aces (2-11)
SEA 94, LAV 106
PG Damian Lillard (17 PTS, 10 AST)
C Jeremy Tyler (18 PTS, 6 REB)
SF Chris Singleton (14 PTS, 6 REB)

Our losing streak has grown eleven games strong, and to make matters worse, Bradley Beal (25.2 PPG) will be out for at least another week after sustaining an injury against New Orleans. Damian Lillard (13.9 PPG, 8.1 APG) seems to have found some kind of rhythm lately and none too soon, as the team is going to be relying on him to carry the scoring load until Beal returns.

MIN 126, SEA 113
PG Damian Lillard – 29 PTS, 6 AST
SF Tobias Harris – 19 PTS, 8 REB
SG Aubrey Coleman – 13 PTS, 3 REB

Dallas Rangers (10-7) @ Seattle Speed (2-16)
DAL 114, SEA 112 (OT)
PG Damian Lillard 26 PTS, 9 AST, 4 REB
PF Marreese Speights 16 PTS, 10 REB
SG Aubrey Coleman 12 PTS, 4 REB

Las Vegas Aces (3-15) @ Seattle Speed (2-17)
LVG 75, SEA 97
SG Bradley Beal – 24 PTS, 6 REB, 3 STL
SF Chris Singleton – 18 PTS, 5 REB

Tracy McGrady was doing a fine job covering for the injured Beal – until he was injured himself; Aubrey Coleman did a serviceable job in his absence. Bradley Beal returned in the game against Las Vegas in which we finally snapped our fifteen-game losing streak. Despite missing some time, Beal was named Rookie of the Month for November 2012.

Oklahoma City Twisters (16-11) @ Seattle Speed (5-19)

PG Damian Lillard – 26 PTS, 6 AST, 5 REB
SG Bradley Beal – 18 PTS, 3 REB
PF Marreese Speights – 12 PTS, 10 REB

Winning three out of our last six games has really improved team morale after suffering through a fifteen game losing streak earlier in the season. Josh Harrellson was injured in our win against Sacramento and Jeremy Tyler should see a little more playing time in the next couple of weeks. Damian Lillard (17.4 PPG, 7.5 APG) has had the hot hand recently but Bradley Beal (23.8 PPG) still leads the team in scoring, even if his production has somewhat leveled-off recently.

SG Bradley Beal – 24 PTS, 5 REB
PF Marreese Speights – 15 PTS, 10 REB

New York Metros (18-12) @ Seattle Speed (7-21)
NY 102, SEA 110
PG Damian Lillard – 20 PTS, 12 AST
SG Bradley Beal – 22 PTS, 3 REB
SF Moe Harkless – 17 PTS, 3 REB

LA(R) 107, SEA 93
SG Bradley Beal – 25 PTS
SF Tobias Harris – 14 PTS, 3 REB
C Jeremy Tyler – 12 PTS, 7 REB

On the year so far, Lillard and Beal have combined for 39.9 PPG and are developing into an offensive cornerstone that this team can build around in the near future. Beal has been selected as the RBA Rookie of the Month for the second time and is really building a case for Rookie of the Year honors.

Damian Lillard (16.8 PPG, 7.5 APG) carried the team on his back in a convincing win over one of the best teams in the league. The backcourt rookie duo has been garnering league-wide attention while the rest of the team has been relatively quiet.

I'm loving the back court of Lillard and Beal, if you can hold onto them it'll be amazing. Put some quality role players around them and look out. Great job.
