Jake III: The Challenge

Jake III: The Challenge

Postby Crusader » Sat Apr 27, 2013 5:23 pm

Ok, I'm ready to start Jake over on the Challenge mode. I am now using a modified PGA schedule. I decided to follow what Rasmuth was doing. I made all PGA and PGA Euro events worth 500 in world points. World Golf Championships are worth 550 and majors are worth 600, making the Euro Tour equal to the US Tour in world standings. Nationwide and Challenge events are worth 250. I am planning to sim the first two rounds and play out the final two rounds if I make the cut.

New thread, new story: Jake grew up in Tulsa, OK, the son of a successful novelist. His dad was a weekend golfer and Jake began going to the golf course as a very young child. Jake developed a passion for the game. His parents hoped he would choose to attend college, but Jake wasn't much of the studious type. All he really wanted to do was play golf and fish. When he graduated from high school, his parents gave him a gift of money to help him get started. Instead of getting a job or going to school, Jake bought a bungalow and a small car, hired a golf coach and caddie and set out for the Nationwide Tour.
