Wolverine Studios wants YOUR vote!

Postby Danny Drickman » Tue Jul 10, 2007 8:54 am

Everyone's always waiting for the next game announcement so this time we've decided to add a little twist. We're going to let the voice of the people help decide what our next game should be here at Wolverine Studios. The WS Team has carefully deliberated and determined that these two possibilities should go for a vote.

The two choices are

Draft Day Sports: College Basketball
Pro Wrestling

Tough choice...

It really depends on the type of game the wrestling game would be.

The wrestling sims I have seen out there were really not my cup of tea. I am voting for College Ball
Manager of Rock Bottom Team - D1:1 at www.coachingsim.com.

First, I love pro wrestling and am largely unsatisfied with the text-sims I see out there. The Grey Dog one is complex and hard to understad. Most others offer a really "crappy controls" action mode. It would be nice to eventually see a really good pro wrestling sports-text sim.

However, I play TCB more than any other Wolverine Studios game and really feel it would be great to have the college hoops game brought up-to-date with DDS:PB...

So, my vote for first priority goes to DDS:PB.

I'd still like to see the pro wrestling game, though.

But look at it this way: the college basketball update could be aimed for the start of the college season in November, while the pro wrestling game would be much more appropriate and timely if released around the time of WrestleMania (early April).

Just my thoughts...

If both have online capabilities, my vote is for wrestling.

Hard decision. Never really played a wrestling sim, but have always wanted to try one. And I'm not a big fan of college basketball, but I love basketball sims. Hmm... someone convince me which one to vote for. :)

They're gonna make both, this is just over which to make first, unless I've misunderstood the post.

Just choose one. :)

I agree with Cooley, if the Pro Wrestling is going to have an online component, then go with that. If not, then we need an update to the College basketball game.
