I think a simple improvement that would greatly increase the immersion of the football game would be some sounds during gameplay.

A simple crowd cheer, as it has now, is not enough.

Some background stadium sounds, play sounds during a play, sound of a punt, etc would be a HUGE improvement.

Playing in silence is boring. The basketball game has game sounds. Why not the football?
