Bloomington's Real World Mod - includes real world coaches

Bloomington, thank you SO much for doing this. It's terrific.

I'm getting a game crash when trying to export the DB file to incorporate the real coach mod. It's saying that a division name is blank. I'm wondering if this is somehow related to the custom setup for the Ohio Valley.

Have you or anyone else experienced this?

I too am having this issue after installing the 1.1 update.

I believe that crash is now taken care of. I got it too. I would advise completely wiping the game off of your C drive including any loose saves or folders that the uninstall doesnt delete for u. Then get the full install Gary posted. After that run the installer that I will post shortly - just make sure you download VERSION 1.1 of the mod. If you dont see those words then I havent posted it yet..but it will be up in a few mins. Let me know if you get that crash because I am not anymore.

bump for Version 1.1 of the Real World Mod posted Saturday March 19 - 7:30pmish.

Please follow the instructions and delete the old version of DDSCB2016 completely and then re-install the new FULL version Gary has posted and then run the installer.

Bloomington, this great. Thanks for all the hard work. I wonder if Gary can adjust it so the saved DB is used instead of the default.dat file or maybe find a way to change the saved DB file as the default file.

currently in the process of adding historical award winners

Here is a screenshot of the Team Info page for Duke showing historical Norton Award winners ( I used the Naismith Award). Will also be visible in the Almanac section as well.

I will likely add WS Player of the Year (AP Player of the Year) and National Coach of the Year as well.

I do understand that people are in the middle of dynasties and may not wish to restart. If your not having any problems or exception errors, I suppose you can just run the installer but continue with your dynasties as is. You just wont see the changes, corrections or updates however until you restart a new dynasty.

This is great - after setting up the coaches, I felt "bad" about taking one of their jobs, so I restarted as an unemployed coach and simmed a season before latching on as a 3rd assistant (boy those Ivys are snooty!) in the Big West.
