It sounds like you need to switch back to the base game's default.dat. I hope you remembered to rename the original and didn't overwrite it.

I actually f***ed it all up so badly I needed to do a system restore; everything is okay again but I can't run Val's mod. Don't know if it's possible to run both Val's mod and the regular game concurrently (Waiting for Val to see this and respond.) but I sure don't know how to do it.

I just rename the default.dat to default.datoriginal and just switch back and forth between the two versions of the file as needed.

I did that (default.datorig). CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another minor correction for the next release of the mod as Dixie State very recently changed their mascot from the Red Storm to the Trailblazers.

I should have an update today or tomorrow, most of the spellings have been fixed (copy and paste failures on my part) I should have spell checked before I pasted into the database.

As for conferences, yes the little east is not the same as what is in the real world. Because I had to mix d2 and d3 to have enough teams I remade conference memberships hence the fantasy portion of the mod.

As far as both databases concurrently as far as I know the renaming is how to do it, your active database should be named default.dat I am working on a tool to autorename that might be available this week too.

Rivalries should be updated with this release as I held off on them in the original data set to see how the game played

So, to be clear about the Little East, the actual teams in that conference will not exist in the mod, correct? I live 2 minutes from Eastern CT ST U., so would have been nice. Oh well.
