Database Player Rating Values?

Is there any document that deciphers the numbers assigned to player ratings in the database.... for instance, "Dunk", "Post", "Drive", "Jumper". etc. ? Do the values represent the tendency of the player to take that kind of shot? Would welcome an explanation of these and any other numerical values assigned in the player portion of the database if anyone has such information. I would like to create a roster of real world players and want to make sure I understand the meaning of the values properly first.
