2/1: 86-82 over #5 Memphis here. Down 14 early in the 2nd. They were on fire. We tightened up the D and put the press on, and they started missing. We stayed hot all the way. We shot 57.7%, 12-26 on threes. They shot 50.9%, 8-15 on threes. 19, 5, 6 for Raed, 15 for Aram, 12, 5, 3 for Byrd. Big win!

We’re now tied for 2nd, 1 back of 1st, 2 up on 4th. 6 to play, none of them against teams with a winning record; three at home, three away.

Dai Avy is back.

2/3: The water wars in most of Africa, large parts of Asia, and on the Indian subcontinent are killing tens of millions.

2/4: 72-52 at Long Island. Easy win. 14, 7, 2 for Gray, 14, 3, 7 for Raed, 12, 5, 5, 2 for Byrd. We had 4 TOs- for the entire game!

2/5: 19-3, 9-2, #8, RPI #3. Still tied for 2nd, but now 2 up on 4th.

2/8: 85-70 SMU here. We had this one all the way. 17, 11 for Aram, 4 others in double figures. 8 TOs- that’s a total of 12 for the last 2 games. +8 RBs.

2/11: 83-75 at Central Florida. It was close for a long time. They shot 52.2%, but we turned them over 20 times, and they committed 8 more fouls. 26, 3, 3, 3 for Raed, 16, 9, 3, 3 for Aram, 11, 5, 3 for Gray.

Three way tie for 1st with three to play.

2/15: 87-53 with Houston here. +13 RBs, +5 TOs. 15, 3, 4 for Olt, 14, 5 for Gray, 11, 7 for Aram,11, 2, 7 for Raed.

We’re playing really well right now.

2/18: 77-46 East Carolina here. We continue to play really well. Held them to 33.3% shooting. +16 RBs, 8 TOs. 16, 8, 5 for Aram, 16, 5 for Olt, 13, 4, 4 for Byrd, 12, 6 for Gart.

2/19: 23-3, 13-2, #7, RPI #3. Still in a 3 way tie for 1st with 1 to play. #12 Temple is at #5 Memphis, so a win would put us in a 2 way tie for 1st.

2/22: 70-58 at Cincinnati. We had a 22 point lead at one point. They never got much closer than the final margin. 16, 3, 5, 2 for Olt, 12, 7, 2 for Aram, 11, 5 for Gart.

Backup guard Omar Paul twisted an ankle. Day to day.

2/26: 24-3, 14-2, #, RPI #. +12.5 PPG, +4.0 RBs, +3.9 TOs. Tied for 1st with Temple. I think we have the #2 seed.

3/5: We were concerned that Raed might go pro. He didn’t, he’ll be back for his sophomore season.

3/9: We play #10 seed Houston, 13-15, 5-11, they upset #7. We beat them by 1 there and 34 here.

3/10: 79-57. 21, 7, 4 for Olt, 11, 10 for Aram, 14, 5, 5 for Byrd, 10, 4, 2, 2 for Gray. +15 RBs.

We play #2 seed, #7 ranked Memphis in the semifinal game. We won by 4 here.

3/11: 66-68. Tough one. 16 TOs didn’t help, 7-28 on threes, 38.2% overall. We had the last possession but they defended really well and we weren’t able to get a clean look. 17, 5, 5 for Olt.

3/12: Memphis crushed Temple, 72-49 for the title.

Can we hope for a #2? I think we’ve earned it.

#2 West. We play #15 Cal ST Northridge, 17-13.

3/17: 79-55. Group effort; 5 guys had between 10 and 13. +7 RBs. We shot 50.9%, they shot 34.6%.

#7 seed Iowa ST, 21-9, is next.

3/19: 59-42. Terrific D! They shot 29.2%, 22.2% on threes. +19 RBs, 11 TOs. 17, 7 for Aram, 15, 3, 4 for Raed, 11, 4, 5 for Olt.

Gart hurt his back. Unless we get to the Final Four, he won’t play again. Byrd will get increased time and Omar Paul will fill in for most of the rest. We’re getting deeper in our bench than we’d like to be.

It’s #3 seed, #10 ranked Stan Louis, 29-4, in the Sweet Sixteen.

3/24: 78-67. Even at the half. We went on a 15-2 run to start the 2nd, and that was that. 19, 9, 4 for Raed, 4 others in double figures. +6 RBs. We shot 54.5%, almost 60% in the 2nd half.

#1 seed, #6 ranked Miami, 32-4, in the Elite Eight. Never figured to make it this far!

They’re favored, but only by 1.5 points. We think we have a shot at this one.

3/26: 58-78. Not tonight. 20-45 at the half. We shot 32.8%, 24.15 on threes. They were 41% and 47.1%. They were bigger and quicker, and their SG was terrific- 26 points. 16, 3, 5 for Raed, 11, 7 for Gray, 10, 7, 3 for Byrd, 7, 11 for Aram.

Great season!

The PF signed.

Most of the powerful nations of the world have finally decided to band together to bring the water purification technology to the parts of the world that are dying in the 10s and 100s of millions.

4/3: #5 Utah beat #7 Memphis, 68-48, for the title.

4/4: Awards: (Author’s Note: “Unhandled exception error occurred: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” going to Awards. Came out of nowhere. All saves affected. Nope. One of the backups worked.)

Ad Olt made Conf. 1st team, Aah Raed made 2nd.

4/23: We ask for a budget increase. Got $21,500.

Terrific season- 28-5, 14-2. Overall: 351-139, .716.

We’re going to be loaded next season. Can’t wait!

5/1: We buy the national gold and the international basic.

6/5: Hoping there’s some talent in the transfer pool, but it would take a real talent.

2 with some interest, but not enough.

War. It seems to have broken out in several places. North Korea has invaded a very weakened eastern Russia. India had invaded Pakistan. Turkey has attacked Bulgaria. South Africa is headed north in three different places. There are several other attacks going on. It is all about water, and arable land. Taken in total it involves massive amounts of troops.

6/16: Other countries have gotten involved. Essentially all of Africa, most of Asia and Europe are at war.

6/26: 2 scholarships. We’ll go either 2 bigs or 1 and 1. Looking at 16, 3 PGs, an SF, 4 PFs, and 7 Cs.
It is really ugly in Asia. North Korea is romping through eastern Russia and from all reports is brutally killing everyone in its path.

7/5: North Korea has sent another army into South Korea.

President Murtha met with both the Joint Chiefs of Staff and with congressional leaders for several hours. Our treaties call upon us to come to the aid of South Korea. The President announced that there will be further meetings tomorrow and a speech to the nation at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. All military leaves are cancelled and all members of the military on active duty, as well as reserves and members of the National Guard were ordered to report to their bases or assigned units, no later than tomorrow at noon.

Obviously, we’re going to war.

7/6: War. We’re sending troops to South Korea and attacking by air and from the Seas around the area.

7/8: We have thrown everything we have at the North Koreans. They have the world’s largest army, by far, and a very strong air force and navy. This will be neither quick nor easy.

7/15: The war effort continues. Many of the nations in the area have joined us in the fight, but almost no countries from Europe or Africa have. They are fighting their own battles. Australia and New Zealand have joined us, as have
Canada, and many countries in Latin America.

7/24: The war rages in Korea, as well as in many other places around the globe.

8/1: Heavy fighting continues in much of the Eastern Hemisphere. We have stopped North Korea’s advance but have not driven them back.

8/7: Aah Raed is #25, and Cap Aram #38 on the Norton list.

8/14: The North Koreans are using chemical warfare- various highly toxic gases.

8/15: The North Koreans used tactical nuclear weapons in three different combat locations today.

8/16: President Murtha addressed the nation and the world: “The United States today dropped nuclear weapons of limited power on Pyongyang, and on four other cities in North Korea today. Our objective was to kill the leaders of the North Korean government, and to destroy the four biggest airports in the country, as well as the major industrial production sites. 90% of the airports and factories we want to destroy are in these five cities. The cities are completely destroyed. We cannot yet confirm that President Kim and the other senior members of his government have been killed.

“All of this was, of course, in response to the war crimes committed by North Korea. We simply could not expose our troops to toxic gases and nuclear weapons without taking major action. If need be we will follow up.”

8/17: The North Korean army is holding in place everywhere where they have troops. They are not attacking, but they are not retreating.

8/19: There has been no word of any kind from the North Korean government. The troops remain in place, on land and on sea. None of their planes have been sighted in the air.

8/21: We offer to an SF and a C.

8/27: North Korean troops have started moving back into North Korea. There has been no word from their government. We have done flyovers with both still and motion picture cameras and have seen no signs of life in the five cities that were bombed, and there has been no sign at all that the North Korean government has survived in any meaningful way.

The nukes used emitted very little radiation. The bombed areas are relatively safe tom inhabit. The goal was destruction, not long term hostility to life.

9/1: Other wars are ongoing but no one else is using either nukes or Chemical weapons. We are not a party to any of the other wars.

9/5: A coalition made up of the U. S. and several Asian nations is now in control in North Korea.

9/15: The wars continue.

9/18: We get the SF, #5 ranked, and lose the C.

We’re going to the JAG holiday. We play Nebraska in the first round.

9/25: Got a PF, #14.

10/2: 1st practice.

10/5: President Murtha announced that the U. S. and other allied neutral nations now have the means to deliver water purification equipment to all areas of the world that need it. He stated that any country that is no longer at war by 10/10 will be put on the list. Those currently at peace will receive the equipment, and installers will proceed to the country first. As other countries declare and end to hostilities they will be added to the list- in order of when the hostilities ended.

10/7: Hostilities have ended everywhere except in the areas being attacked by the Turks. The President of Turkey is refusing the offer of assistance and continuing his attacks.

Pres. Murtha says the neutral coalition has placed all nations under attack by Turkey on the waiting list and says the neutral coalition is considering policy and action regarding Turkey.

10/17: Hostilities involving the Turks continue.

10/27: The neutral coalition has announced that on November 1, they will join in the fight against Turkey, with land troops and air support.

11/1: The Turks began a cease fire, and their troops remain in place.

11/5: Turkish troops have left no areas but are not fighting.

11/6: Here’s the lineup:

Junior Juco Josh Cota start at PG and soph Aah Raed starts at SG. Frosh Bou Rica subs for both.

Frosh Udo Wiel starts at SF, splitting time evenly with frosh Kik Jost.

Junior Cap Aram and Jay Muks start inside, backed by Wiel and soph Dai Avy.

Frankly, we have some talent but we’re thin.

The Turkish forces are making their way back home.

11/15: 75-51 over #14 Utah here. 36-2 in the paint. +11 TOs, +10 RBs. 17, 7, 3 for SG Aah Raed, 17, 7 for PF/C Jay Muks, 14, 3, 2, 2, 2 for PG Josh Cota, 9, 9 for sub SF Kik Jost.

11/18: Weber ST here. 91-74. +15 RBs. 21, 7 for Raed, 14, 8, 4, 2 for C/PF Cap Aram, 15, 8 for Muks, 12 for #3 guard Bou Rica but he broke his arm. Out until sometime in January.

Freshmen Art Sonn and Al Zern will battle for Rica’s minutes.

11/20: Ranked # 11. We were preseason #19.

Both recruits sign.

11/22: 81-84 to #4 LSU here. Fouls limited the time 5 of our guys could play, and that was a factor. We let them shoot 47.4%. -5 RBs. 20, 5 for Raed, 17, 4, 3 for Cota, 10, 7 for Aram, 11 for sub guard Art Sonn.

11/25: 86-85 at Colorado. Never more than 7 points between the two teams. We had the last possession, got it to Muks, who hit an 8 footer. 20, 5, 8 for Raed, 20, 5 for Muks, 12, 3 for Jost, 11, 3, 5 for Cota. 21 TOs (-8), but +11 RBs.

11/29: 67-66 over #8 Kentucky here. Two one point wins in a row. We were down 13 at the half, and took our only 2nd half lead when Aram hit a 10 footer at the buzzer. He had 12 and 6. 12, 3 for Cota. +10 TOs. Great win!

12/2: 77-80 at Air Force. Close. We had a chance to tie it at the end but Raed’s three hit the front rim. 18, 12 for Aram, 22, 6, 4 for Raed.

Another broken arm. This time it’s starting SF Udo Wiel. He’s out until late January. The bench is getting very short.

12/6: 62-63 at UTEP. Tough one. Another one that was close all the way. This time we lost it when they made a desperation 35 footer at the buzzer. 20, 5 for Raed, 13, 7 for Aram, 11, 6 for Muks. +9 RBs, -6 TOs.

There’s an uneasy peace throughout the world. The Turks seem to be the biggest threat. What will they do once the water purification equipment is installed. They’re last on the list so it will be a while.

South Korea is still under martial law with an international coalition still showing a very strong presence. It is assumed that the leaders of Kim’s regime all were killed in the bombing since there has never been any sign of any of them.

12/9: 74-42 at Mississippi. We needed this one. 18, 6, 6 for Raed, 17, 5, 4 for Cota, 11, 7 for Aram. +13 RBs.

12/11: 5-3, #20, RPI #31.

12/13: 82-60 over Alabama here. Up 1 at the half and then we tightened up on D. 40-19 in the 2nd. +11 in both TOs and RBs. 25, 8 for Muks, 22, 5 for Aram, 12, 6 for Raed.

12/20: 83-76 at Marquette. We led all the way. 21 for Cota, 14, 7 for Avy, 12, 5, 2, 2, 2 for Jost, 11, 4, 3 for Raed.

Headed for the JAG Holiday. We’re the #2 seed and play #7 seed Nebraska.

12/23: 82-44. 22, 3, 4 for Cota, 11, 13, 4 for Aram, 17, 3 for Raed, 10, 7 for Avy. 8 TOs (+18).

#3 seed Providence, 8-3, in the semis.

12/24: 75-47. 14, 9, 5, 4 for Raed, 12, 7 for Muks, 10 each for Jost and Zern. +13 RBs, +8 TOs.

#1 seed, #2 ranked Indiana, 9-1, for the title. Their starting C is out with an injury.

12/25: 75-90. Very good team! +7 TOs, but -9 RBs. 29, 5, 4 for Cota. They were just better.

We end the pre-conf. season at 9-4, #14, RPI #9. +11.4 PPG, +5.9 RBs, +4.2 TOs.

12/30: 85-70 vs. SMU here. 23, 6, 4 for Raed, 20, 6, 6 for Cota, 11, 15, 2, 2,2 for Aram, 15, 5, 5, 2, 2 for Muks. +18 RBs, 11 TOs.

1/3/17: 73-75 in OT at Central Florida. This is not a game we should have lost. Every time it felt like we could put it out of reach they came back, usually with 2-3 baskets that put them right back in it. They hit a three at the end of regulation to tie it, and another at the end of OT for the win. You can’t let a team hang around the way we did. They made 11 threes, we made 4; that was the biggest difference. Also, they shot 46.6%, we shot 39.5%.
+13 RBs, +5 TOs. 17, 7, 6 for Reed10, 10, 4 for Muks, 13, 8 for Avy.

As a staff we’re kind of out of ideas. Admittedly we need one more big man, which we won’t get until the end of the month when Wiel comes back from his injury, but we’re just not putting it together, at least to this point.

Admittedly, all but three of our players are first year- either frosh or Jucos. Even though many are blue chippers, sometimes it takes a while. We may get it together in Feb. or March. We’ll see.

And we’re not awful. It’s just that expectations are extremely high here.

1/6: 81-63 over Houston here. 24, 10 for Muks. The other starters each had between 12 and 17. The bench had 2. +12 RBs, +8 TOs.

1/10: 75-62 vs. East Carolina here. 16, 10 for Muks who is really playing well lately; 6 solid games in a row. 8, 12, 4, 3 for Avy. The other 3 starters were all in double figures. +11 RBs.

Bou Rica is back. We’re going to sit PF Kik Jost and go with 3 guards at times. Raed can play SF, and either Rica or Art Sonn will play PG or SG when he does. Let’s see what happens. Jost isn’t getting it done. Our other SF, Dai Avy, is playing well.

Our next game may not be the best test of the new lineup- tough road game.

1/13: 75-90 at #5 Cincinnati. We were with them for about 32 minutes been they wore us down. Good team! 19, 10 for Aram, 18 for Cota, 15 for Muks. They shot 49%.

Again, not the best test for the changes. We’ll stay with them for a while.

1/17: 90-60 Tulane here. 20, 10 for Muks, who is challenging Raed as our best player. 13, 4, 7 for Cota, 16 for Sonn, 12, 4, 3 for Rica. The three guard thing looked really good tonight. +13 RBs, 10 TOs.

1/20: 73-72 at Tulsa. We very nearly blew an 18 point lead. They had the last possession. Muks ran out and blocked a shot by their SF, their best player. He led us on O with 16 and 14. 16, 4, 2, 3, 4 for Raed, 12 each for Aram and Cota, 11 for Rica.

1/24: 68-59 at South Florida. 17, 9 for Aram, 11 for Rica, 10 each for three people. +12 TOs.

1/27: 93-80 over #15 Temple here. BIG win! 23 for Rica, 17, 7 for Muks, 15, 6, 7 for Raed, 12, 3, 6 for Cota. The 1st half ended 46-46, but we started the 2nd with a 14-4 run and never looked back. +10 TOs.

1/29: 16-6, 7-2, #, RPI #. Tied for 3rd, 1 back of 1st. +10.4 PPG, +6.4 RBs, +4.9 TOs.

Aah Raed is #11 and Cap Aram #24 on the Norton list.

Udo Wiel is back. His minutes are going elsewhere but he’s a good defender and we’ll use him in certain situations.

The international coalition is trying to slowly transition North Korea to home rule. The country has no history of democracy at all, so it will be difficult. It is expected that coalition troops will remain there for a long time, but the effort is beginning.

Turkey is a real problem. The dictator has ruled there for a long time, and he actually has broad support. It is generally felt that he is the greatest threat to world peace. Coalition troops surround the country and are on a constant state of readiness. It is believed that he will do nothing until the water purification system is in place. Humanitarian aid is going to his people, but not enough to supply all of Turkey’s water related needs.

1/31: 74-86 at #19 Memphis. They led most of the way. We never got it to less than 5 in the 2nd half. 19 for Cota, but 10 TOs. 15, 5, 5 for Raed, 12, 8 for Aram.

We’re alone in 4th, 1 back of 3rd, 2 back of 1st.

Li’s book for 10 and 11 year olds sold very well over the holiday season. This is meant to be a series, and her publisher definitely wants the second. She is now writing for two different age groups, and she is making A LOT of money.

We haven’t had kids and don’t plan to. We’ve hashed it out many, many times. Given all of her health issues it simply doesn’t make sense, and we both love the lives we’re living. Su has a girl and a boy, so that takes care of Li’s dad’s grandchildren issue, and it gives us a couple of kids to play with now and then.

2/3: 82-63 vs. Long Island here. +16 TOs. 16, 11 for Muks, 13 for Rica, 12 each for Aram, Cota, and Avy.

2/7: 82-68 at SMU. 21, 6 for Muks, 16, 10 for Aram, 7, 9, 7, 3, 2 for Raed.

2/10: 85-74 over Central Florida here. 18, 10, 4, 3 for Aram, 19 each for Raed and Cote, 12, 6 for Muks. +11 TOs.

2/12: 18-8, 9-4, #18, RPI #22. Alone in 4th. 3 to play and 2 look very tough.

Raed is #13 on the Norton list.

2/14: 79-87 at Houston. We blew a 9 point lead. 25, 5 for Aram, 15, 5, 6, 3 for Raed, 7, 13 for Muks. +8 TOs. When you take 22 more shots you shouldn’t lose. We shot 38.4%, they shot 51%. We made 5 threes, they made 12.

2/17: 65-66 at East Carolina. We just lost to the last place team. They led all the way, by as many as 21. I’m furious. And we didn’t have a chance to win at the end; it was a one point game because we hit a three at the buzzer.

I didn’t even speak to my guys after the game, just walked in the locker room, turned around, and walked back out again. I took a taxi to the hotel and let my assistants talk to them. We’re now tied for 4th, and we end the regular season with #3 ranked Cincinnati. We could end up 6th.

Little used PF Ray Niel got a concussion.

2/21: 102-94 over #3 Cincinnati. Wow! I can’t figure this team out. I’ll take it, though. Up 8 at the half, as many as 14 in the 2nd. 24, 6 for Avy, 19, 6, 4 for Raed, 18, 2, 5 for Cota, 13, 5 for Aram, 11, 7 for Muks. 57 fouls called, which is insane, and it helped us. We were 42-53, they were 25-33.

2/26: We end the regular season at 19-10, 10-6, #24, RPI #28. +8.1 PPG, +4.9 RBs, +4.9 TOs. Tied for 4th, #4 seed.

3/5: Little used frosh guard Al Zern declared for the draft.

3/9: #5 seed Houston, 18-10, 10-6, won the play in so we play them in the quarters. We won by 18 here then lost by 8 there.

3/10: 88-85. 17, 6, 5 for Raed, 17, 5 for Muks, 15, 4 for Jost. +12 RBs. We gave up 12 threes.

#1 seed, #15 ranked Memphis, 23-6, 14-2, in the semis. They beat us by 12 there.

3/11: 74-81. We lost it at the line. They took 15 more free throws and made 12 of them. But the refs didn’t beat us; Memphis shot 52.2%. 12, 5, 4 for Raed, 13, 4 for Aram, 10, 2, 7, 3 for Cota.

3/12: We fell out of the Top 25. 20-11, 10-6, RPI #29. #7 seed?

#8 West. We play #9 Iowa ST, 20-10.

3/17: 75-61. We led most of the way. 15, 14, 4 for Raed, 15, 9 for Aram, 13 for Avy. +22 RBs. We held them to 30.9%.

#1 seed, #11 ranked, #6 RPI North Carolina ST, 26-7, in the 2nd round. It has been a disappointing season, but a trip to the Sweet Sixteen would help.

3/19: 69-79. 20 TOs, and they took 14 more free throws. 17, 8 for Raed.

4/3: My old team, Ohio ST, won it all. I put most of that team together so I’ll take a little pride in this.

4/4: Awards: Aah Raed and Jay Muks made conf. 1st team. Cap Aram made 2nd.

4/23: We gave all of our assistants a raise so we’re asking for a budget increase. We get $22,500.

Definitely a disappointing season. 21-12, 10-6. Overall: 372-151, .711, after 15 seasons. The good news? Everybody’s back, and we have the #5 and #11 rated recruits coming in.

North Korea is having a tough time with the concept of democracy. The most popular faction is advocating for a king with all but absolute power. The coalition is trying to educate the people regarding that.

The water purification process in Turkey begins on about May 1. People are concerned regarding what may happen when it is completely installed.

5/1: #5 preseason. I agree! I think we have a shot at getting to the Final Four. We buy the National Gold and the International basic.

5/19: North Korea has a king. While he has a great deal of power there is a parliament that can check his power.

6/5: No one of interest in the transfer pool.

6/26: 4 scholarships. We’d like 3 bigs, but if need be, we’ll settle for 2 and 2.

7/13: Everything is peaceful in North Korea. They already love their king.

7/27: Everything is quiet in and around Turkey. There’s tension in the air though.

8/7: SF Vin Jank is #5, PF Cap Aram #31, PG Josh Cota #42, and PF Mo Bean #46 on the Norton list.

8/21: We offer to a PG, an SF, 2 Cs.

9/18: Got a PG, #16, and a C, #13. Lost #1 and #6.

No in season tournament.

9/25: Got a C, #22. Lost the other one.

10/2: Lost another one.

1st day of practice. I love what I see!

10/14: Military coup in Turkey. The long time dictator is dead.

10/16: The General at the head of the Turkish coup announced that elections will be held in May. He says the generals did what they did to bring democracy back to Turkey.

11/6: The lineup:

Senior Josh Cota and junior Aah Raed return at guard, backed by soph Bo Rica.

Frosh Vin Jank is at SF.

Seniors Cap Aram and Jay Muks start inside. Frosh Mo Bean subs inside.

11/19: 82-48 over #15 Pitt here. 20, 6, 5 for Raed, 17, 4 for Jank. +9 TOs. Our fans were really excited about seeing Jank for the first time and he didn’t disappoint.

11/20: Our 3 committed recruits all signed. Still chasing a big guy.

11/26: 73-79 at Iowa. They took an early lead and we couldn’t quite get there. We came close several times. 14, 9 for Jank, 14, 8 for Aram, 14, 6, 4, 4, 2 for Muks. They won from the line and from three point range.

11/30: 85-72 vs. Gonzaga here. 16, 10 for Jank, 17, 2, 4 for Raed15 for Muks. +8 TOs.

12/3: 92-85 at Air Force. 24, 8, 3 for Jank, 16, 3, 6 for Cota, 16, 6 for Bean. +11 RBs, +10 TOs.

Bou Rica hurt a wrist. Out about a week.

12/10: 82-72 vs. Florida here. 28, 5 for Jank, 10, 15 for Muks, 12, 6, 10, 3 for Raed, 10, 10 for Bean.

12/13: 84-77 at Alabama. 25, 11 for Muks, 13, 3, 5 for Raed. +9 TOs. Jank and Aram were slowed by foul trouble.

Rica is back.

One game back and Rica reinjures his wrist. He’s out about 2 weeks.

Only Memphis is ahead of us in the rankings. We play them here on 2/1.

I haven’t spoken about Li much. We’re doing great together. Our lives are both packed, and she’s on the road often, doing book signings, TV talk show s to discuss her books, and other things, and when she’s at home she’s usually writing.

Her RA is worse, but the meds help the pain. She just gets tired easily.

But we watch movies and hoops games I need to evaluate, and we talk about the team, my coaching, her writing. She’s still my everything.

Neither one of us cares much about money. Money is only important if you don’t have enough, but she is making enormous amounts of money from her writing. Given that my salary is close to 1.5 million per, money is not an issue.

We’ve moved to a house on lots of land, mostly to isolate ourselves. Sadly, when you’re famous, you need to do that. The house has everything we need but it is far from a mansion. Neither of us wants that.
