Ratings versus Scouting Report

Ratings versus Scouting Report

Postby Your_Imaginary_Friend » Sat Apr 15, 2017 12:08 pm

Which to believe?

I bought this a few moments ago and immediately ran into bizarreness.

First player I looked at is Porzingis. He's listed as 1/1 for endurance and 'pathetic' for work ethic. Yet his scouting report reads:

"Never appears tired. Has great conditioning and work ethic."

So which is it?

Will I always have such bizarre discrepancies?

From my experience, the Scouting Report does tend to have some inaccuracies if you have yet to play any games. Also, depending on the settings for your GM, the randomly generated attributes, and whether or not you use dynamic ratings, the ratings you see for the player may not be accurate either. Visible endurance ratings for players at the beginning of the season are often inaccurate. This is just what I perceive however.

thanks, that is what I thought was happening. It was simply more than a bit 'off' for my first encounter with the game to be so bizarre.
