Is the interface/UI changing or is it going to be the exact same as the past years?

The interface is changing somewhat. It has the same look and feel but with a few functionality changes. We have always received high marks on the look of the UI so there was no reason to reinvent something that was good already :)

Well damn, I'm excited again.

Most excited for scouting changes, but I never realized how much I wanted lineup tracking until now.

The lineup tracking feature hit me the same way while developing it - it just adds one more key level of data and detail to help you make the best decisions possible while running your team.

The expanded historical play is the best feature for me, excelent. I hope the game can deliver accurate statistics, while keeping the possibility for some special players to deliver "off the chart" numbers (Rodman with rebouding, Stockton with assists, etc).

Will there be "modifiers" so that the stats in historical play reflect the style of basketball played in the past? Or better yet, will there be an option to choose if you want to use these historical modifiers or not?

Here's hoping Chris Paul is actually in the 2005 draft class this time. Dammit Gary! You bet looking at those recent years is the first thing I'm doing. :P

Very excited for this. I'm glad "player interactions" is getting some love.

I like the Matchup Maker idea. I never got into historical play but I definitely like the idea of one-off dream matchups.

My only hope is the assists/TO/steals issue has been ironed out. If so, then I might not be playing any other game for a long time.

I'm excited as well, particularly about the lineup tracking and being able to start anywhere within historical play. Kudos, Gary. :)

I imagine they're incoming fairly soon but some screenshots would be swell! :)

After last year's game, I'm definitely waiting a month or two after release before deciding whether to purchase. Hopefully the stats are more realistic and there is less parity with regard to generated rookies.
