11/20: 2-0 start. Center Mick Evan looks very good so far.

All 3 recruits sign. Expect cuts and more recruiting in March.

One more at home then we head for the Palmetto Shootoit. We’re the #5 seed, and face #4 California.

11/25: 64-48. 12, 13, 5 for Evan, 14, 5 for SF Shon Mora, 12, 4 for SG Cam Wyte. +14 RBs.

Little used PF/C Jeff Bant tears a calf muscle. Out a week.

#1 seed Arizona, 3-0, in the semifinal round.

11/26: 77-72. We played really well against a good team. 12, 13, 4 for Wyte, 16 for Evan, 13, 6 for sub PF Josh Star, 11, 5 for sub guard Ken Carr.

#2 seed Georgia, 3-0, for the title.

11/27: 61-51 and we win the tournament! 14, 16 for Vaka, 12, 7 for Evan, 11, 6 for #3 guard Ken Carr.

12/4: 8-0, #8, RPI #4. We have exceeded expectations by a wide margin. I didn’t expect this at all. The 3 we played in the Shootout were all good teams. The rest, not so much, but no terrible teams.

Mick Evan gets 16.0, 9.0. 13.1 for Cam Wyte. 5 others with 7.1 or more. We could take better care of the ball.

12/25: 11-0, #13, RPI #8, going to conf. play. +15.6 PPG, +9.8 RBs, +2.3 TOs. 15.8, 8.8 for Evan, 13.8 for Wyte.

There are now 385,000 U. S. troops in Vietnam.
