12/4: 3-2. We’re still getting the lineup where we want it.

12/22: 5-3 going to the JAG Holiday vs. #2 seed Washington, 5-3. We’re #7.

12/23: 81-74. 9 TOs, the least since I got here. +12 RBs. 14, 6, 4 for SG Tory Baya, 16 for SF Matt Seas.

#3 seed ST Louis, 6-3, in the semis.

12/24: 77-85. They got 13 threes, we got 1 (for 12). 26, 1 for Blan, 15, 7 for 6th man Bin Rand.

12/25: 6-4, RPI #149. +0.7 PPG, +7.3 RBs, -0.7 TOs, -0.9 blocks, -0.3 assists, -0.6 steals.

3/6: We play last place Evansville, 10-18, 5-13, in the quarter finals. We beat them twice, but only by 3 the first time, and 3 in OT the 2nd.

3/7: 96-80. Great O, not so great D. 25, 6 for SF/SG Matt Seas, 16 for little used Noel Parr. Only 9 TOs. The three blind mice were ridiculous, calling 53 fouls.

#3 seed, Indiana ST, 17-12, 10-8, in the semis. We split a pair. This one figures to be a battle.

3/8: 82-68. The offense has been humming! 19 for Blan, 6 others with 8 or more. Only 6 TOs.

#5 seed Drake, 14-15, 10-8, beat #4, then #1 to get here. We split a pair of close ones with them.

3/9: 63-58 and the title! They slowed our O WAY down, but our D was even better than theirs. 18, 6 for Blan, 17, 7 for PF Kip Free, 10, 10 for SF/SG Matt Seas. 11 TOs.

21-11, 11-7, RPI #49.

3/12: #13 East. About what we expected. We play #4 seed Penn, 28-2. They’ve had a great season.

3/16: 74-81. We took a big early lead, 15. They chipped it down to 5 at the half and owned the 2nd. We never quit, but they were the better team. 19, 7 for 6th man Bin Rand, 17 for SG Troy Baya, 12, 8 for Blan.

4/3: #5 ranked Illinois is national champ.

4/4: Awards: Dodo Blan is Conf. POY, Def. POY, 1st team. Kip Free is Frosh OY and 1st team. Matt Seas is 2nd team.

4/23: We ask for money. We get $4,500.

21-12, 11-7. Overall, 65-32, .670.

11/20: 1-1. We split 2 road games. Ball handling is a problem.

1/1/1992: 9-2, 1-1, RPI #19. Inside players Dodo Blan and Ron Brue lead us.

1/15: 12-3, 4-2, RPI #18. Tied for 2nd, 1 back.

1/29: 16-3, 8-2, RPI #14. Alone in 1st, one up on Bradley, who we play at our place later on. We should be ranked! +8.4 PPG, +9.8 RBs, +1.9 TOs, -1.2 blocks, +1.4 assists, +1.1 steals. Blan and Brue continue to lead us, but our other three current starters, Rand, Free, and Baya, are all playing good ball.

In a surprise, one of our recruits does not hit our SAT score.

2/12: 18-5, 10-4, 1st place. #22, RPI #14.

2/26: 22-6, 13-5. We win the conf. by 3 games. #19, RPI #15. +8.6 PPG, +8.2 RBs, +3.0 TOs, -1.1 blocks, +2.3 assists, +1.4 steals.

3/6: We play #9 seed Evansville, 10-18, 5-13, first.

3/7: 69-75. We didn’t expect this. We were lackluster all night. Didn’t play with any energy. Fouls hurt, both of our starting guards fouled out.
The D was awful, they shot 52.1%, 45.5% on threes. Frankly, we deserved to lose.

22-7, 13-5, #22, RPI #20.

3/12: #6 Midwest. We play #11 Michigan, 15-13. Not an easy 1st round opponent.

3/16: 43-64. Awful. What a terrible way to end the season. We just didn’t show up for our last two games. 23% shooting. The only bright side is that we played good D tonight, but that isn’t much.

4/3: #4 UCLA is the champ.

4/4: Awards: Dodo Blan is Conf. Def. POY and 1st team with Ron Brue.

4/23: I ask for a budget increase. No.

22-8, 13-5. Overall, 87-40, .685.

5/1: We move to Conf. USA. Can’t afford to buy any reports.

6/5: No open spots for transfers.

6/26: 6 scholarships.

8/7: Ron Brue is #49 on the Norton list.

8/21: We offer to an SF, 3 PFs, and a C.

Ruby Ridge.

9/18: Get one, lose one. We get a C, #66.

Golden ST Classic vs. Central Michigan.

9/25: Got 2, lost 1. Got a C, #52, and an SF, #176.

10/2: Got 2 more, a PF, #73, and a PF, #147. One more to go.

1st day of practice. We’re picked to win our new conf.

10/31: The Catholic church lifts the edict against Galileo (Major Eyeroll reporting for duty [Salutes]).

11/3: Bill Clinton is elected POTUS.

11/6: 8 man rotation, but PG, SG, and SF are up for grabs:

Senior Al Pine starts at the Point but junior Tony Baya gets equal time.

Junior Bin Rand starts at SG but junior Kip Free gets equal time.

Senior Ben Dark starts at SF. Frosh Ric Ramy subs at SF and PF.

Senior Dodo Blan starts at PF, subs at C.

Senior Ron Brue starts at C, subs at PF.

11/20: 2-0 start. We looked good in both games.

All 5 recruits sign. Still chasing that last one.

12/4: 3-2. Still finding out who we are. One more road game then off to the Golden ST Classic.

12/9: 76-63 over #5 seed Central Michigan, in the 1st round of the Golden ST Classic. 26, 6 for SF Kip Free, 19, 12 for PF Dodo Blan. +15 RBs.

We play #1 seed St. Joe’s, 6-1, in the semis. We’re the #4 seed.

12/10: 73-75 in OT. Tough loss. Bad call at the end of regulation allowed them to sink 2 free throws to send it to OT. Bad call at the end of OT gave them the game.

12/25: 7-3, RPI #46. +9.3 PPG, +12.2 RBs, +2.3 TOs, -0.9 blocks, +1.7 assists, +1.3 steals. Blan, Brue, and Bin Rand lead us in scoring.
