#4 seed Villanova, 16-12, 9-7, in the semifinals. We split 2 blowouts with them.
3/11: 48-62. We shot 36% but had 24 TOs. 19, 9 for Wood. Everyone else was awful.

#5 seed, #18 ranked Kentucky, 21-12, in round two. They’re very tough inside.
3/18: 72-63. 20, 13 for Wood, three others with 10 or more.
#9 seed Oregon, 19-12, in the Sweet Sixteen.
3/23: 68-58. 25, 16 for Wood, 16, 9 for Main. 20 TOs, but +22 RBs.
#6 seed, #21 ranked Arizona, 22-11, in the Elite Eight. They have Mo Taylor, the best player in the country. He gets 37.8 PPG.
3/25: 85-69! 26, 20 for Zac Main, 21, 4 for Wood, 14, 7 for sub Cory Sine, 13, 8 for Bond. +24 RBs. We held Taylor to 31.
We play #1 seed, #4 ranked Louisville, 30-6. They have a terrific outside game.
4/1: 80-68! 36, 8 for Wood, 14, 14 for Main, 12, 11 for SF Earl Harp. They beat us outside, but we took care of the ball- only 14 TOs (-3), and we ate them up inside.
We play #1 seed, #7 ranked Wake Forest, 30-6, for the national title. Another very good outside team. This won’t be easy.
4/3: 57-72. 22, 10 for Wood, but no one else had more than 7 points. 27 TOs, only +5 RBs. Oh well, we got to the title game.
4/4: Jay Wood is Big East POY, Def. POY, and 1st team. Zac Main is Frosh OY and 1st team. I am COY.
4/23: I ask for $. We get $13,500.
