1/1/2011: 11-2, 2-0, #11, RPI #12. We beat #3 ranked Louisville here. Cris Denn is WAY exceeding expectations at C.

1/15: 14-3, 5-1. #11, RPI #9. In a 3 way tie for 1st, but it’s early. Eric Stag leads us with 17.2, 11.5. Denn gets 16.5, 8.5.

1/29: 16-6, 7-4, #13, RPI #13. Tied for 5th. We’re not playing that badly, it’s just a tough conf. +3.4 PPG, +8.9 RBs, -2.0 TOs. 7 to play, 4 against ranked teams, but all but one against the ranked teams are at home.

2/12: 18-7, 9-5, #14, RPI #21. In a 4 way tie for 3rd.

2/19: 19-8, 10-6, #16, RPI #23. Tied for 4th with 2 road games left. I’d love a split.

2/26: 19-10, 10-8, #18, RPI #29. Lots of other teams lost too so we end up in a 4 way tie for 5th, with the #5 seed. +2.1 PPG, +8.4 RBs, -1.8 TOs.

3/5: Not as huge surprise but Eric Stag decides to go pro.

3/8: We play #11 seed NC ST, 18-12, 8-10, in the 1st round. Won by 9 at our place.

3/9: 78-65. We led all the way. 34, 14 for Stag, 20, 10 for Denn. +15 RBs.

#3 seed Winston-Salem, 21-8, 12-6, in the 1/4 finals. They won by 9 at our place.

3/10: 67-85. Poor O and worse D. Not our night. 23, 11 for Denn, 17, 13 for Stag.

20-11, 10-8, #24, RPI #33. Hoping for a #5 or #6, but not sure we’ll be that lucky.

3/12: #5 East. We play #12 Texas-Arlington, 22-9.

3/16: 74-82. Disappointing post season. 23, 8 for Denn, 17, 11 for Stag.

4/3: #9 Pitt is the champ.

4/4: Awards: Eric Stag is ACC POY, Frosh OY, 1st team. Senior Cris Denn made 2nd team.

Fatal crash. So much for this association. One more historical and then i'll move on to something else.
