Brooks (or whomever) - is there anyway we can have a feature like this in the game so we know, for instance, we're not making our RB's or QB's or whomever too powerful? That the ratings we're giving them will still produce realistic stats? This is one of the most important things to me, and producing realistic stats is THE #1 most important thing to me and probably many others. I don't want QB's with 6,000 yards passing or RB's trotting for 2000 yds more than once a decade, for instance.
OP brought up a good point. There should be ratings baseline ranges that you can compare your league's ratings too to ensure you will have realistic stats after you create all your players.
Fortunately, there are some documents out there that ppl have made that allows you, via simple pivot tables in excel, to take a computer-generated league and compare your league to allow you to tweak your league if nec to be more in line with the standard computer league, if you want.
Also there are simple things I've gathered over the years like this -
100-95 Generational (0-2% of league)
94-90 Elite (5-8%)
89-81 Pro Bowl (10-12%)
80-75 Solid Starter (25-30%)
74-68 Back up (25-30%)
67-63 Practice Squad/ grooming talent (10-13%)
62- under Selling insurance
I wanted to attach a spreadsheet I received from a user years ago when it was still PFS that does what I was talking about (Compare cpu-generate league to your own) but this forum won't allow me - sorry. If yo want it msg me and I'll send it your way.
