CPU Cut Days

Will all teams cut down to 53 after Week 1 in pre-season or wait until Week 1 of regular season?

Ok so this has been changed from PF16. It was so weird seeing all teams cutting down to 53 right when preseason started.

What's the max amount of players a team can sign during the preaseason? Or is there no max?
