League Formats and Playoffs

Will there be any additional league formats? Will there be an option to customize the number of teams that make the playoffs?

Would it be possible to eventually consider allowing (at least in sandbox) to alter the playoffs format to add or subtract the amount of teams, giving the ability award bye weeks to top seeds etc?
