Can I use my CSV Files

Can I use my CSV Files

Postby Gatek99 » Tue Sep 05, 2017 7:10 pm

I have spent the last couple of months creating a 2017 draft class for my league on the CSV files in anticipation for the release. I spent the time to create over 1600 draft eligible players, so as you can see I would really like to not have to do everything all over again.

Is there anything I can do to get my CSV file to work?

This is the question of the hour man. From what I understand, the answer is no until Brooks has a chance to make his CSV to JSON converter. Or if users can figure something out open source. I'm in pretty much in the exact same boat as you man. Pretty frustrating...

You can always load your file in DDSPF 16 at the draft save and then open the saved .bin file with DDSPF 18. That should work without a problem.

yeah frankie's work around can prolly hold you over until the converter gets here.

1) open league in '16
2) import your csv
3) save league
4) open league in '18
5) export -> file will now be json

Was the schedule import feature also affected by this?

If this works, is there still a need for Brooks to spend time to build a converter?

Try unzipping this file and running it against your CSV: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AnHBGALZN-MFzUIq0HOs08xfC62S

Will try both and get back to you. I jumped the gun and already uninstalled the old one :(
