yes the option parts are new to '18

the xml is in the /data folder in your install directory

the additional entries should be evident from the xml

also beware, that the xml is case sensitive and very sensitive to spelling/copy paste errors. Keep a backup before you edit.

If you mess with it and experience crashes, please revert to your backup.

I don't recommend modding the plays.xml unless you know what you're doing and have extensive experience with modding games, updating xml, etc. You'll probably have to create a thread in the modding forum and work on it with other folks to get stuff to work.

If you still want to proceed the plays.xml is in the Data folder in Program Files\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF 2018\Data or something like that depending on where you installed the game.

Okay I was able to move some of the option plays from the college game over. Unfortunately I couldn't do it with the Wishbone plays. I'm guessing DDSPFS doesn't recognize the formation. Can it be "created" or is that not something that can be done at this time?

We'll check on that. I'm not sure what other aspects of the pro game that particular formation will affect, so it may be a while before we can add it in.

I went into the XML files in program files but when I went to save it told me I didnt have permission to save?

I know Im dumb with the tech here, but am I doing something wrong?

Also, anyone who has already added the options to their playbook, could you possibly post it or send it to me?

You may be able to copy the Player.xml file to your My Docs\Wolverine Studios\DDSPF18 folder and mod it there. Otherwise you can get access issues updating a file in c:\program files if you're not an admin.

also, you probably cannot edit the file if you have the game running.

Moved it/saved it to the my docs version as suggested and it worked. Thank you guys! Sorry for the inexperienced modding questions!
