Online Leagues and Scouting...

Is there any way to disable scouting for online leagues? Or make it an option for us to disable?

the commish can see the draftclass, so the easiest would be to just copy it and share it with the league as a spreadsheet.

What's wrong with this combination?

Its pointless if you know all of their ratings. But that's fine. I'll just have the spreadsheet ready for everyone to view and we can just skip the scouting phase.

Don't get me wrong, its a great feature.. for single player. Its kind of pointless in online leagues. That's the only reason I requested to be able to disable it. Again, this is something we can just ignore and skip, though, as our owners will already know the player ratings prior to the draft.

Rob, I'm not sure I follow. How would the rest of your league know the ratings? If the Commish is the only one who can see them which is how I understand the feature works then what are you worried about? All you'd have to do is not look.

I'm pretty disappointed that the developers can't make this great feature work in online leagues. :(
It could add so much to the game.

I dont understand?

Scouting works in online leagues.

The issue here is that some leagues would prefer to disable scouting, and this is currently not possible, but there is a simple workaround that falls in line with what most online leagues already do (distribute a spreadsheet of the draftclass)

I never said it didn't work. I said it was pointless if the commissioner is distributing the spreadsheet then everyone knows the ratings. So what I want the option to turn off is the fog of war.
