Confusing - Play Analysis vs. Passing Stats

Rangers play analysis count 45 pass attempts.
Ranger passing stats of QB Mcswain shows only 40 attempts.

Btw
Mcswain?
Isn't it: McSwain??

Sacks, qb runs? Just because it's a pass play doesn't mean he passed the ball.

He had 5 QB runs.

The coders put Mcswain instead of McSwain. It like that for all Mc's instead of the ones that start with McC.

OK
If I count the Rangers rushing attempts, I get 25. Game analysis count 23.

Why are the averages (6,2) not (6.2)?

Localization picks up the decimal notation for different countries that use comma instead of period.

A QB scramble is considered a rush for rushing stats, but not consider a run play since the play called was a pass.

the answer you are looking for is probably penalties. This is the same as it was in '16.
