During the preseason, does the AI teams substitute so that all their players play the game instead of only 1st and 2nd strings?

They have play backups on, but I'm not sure how often it will get to third string.

To piggy back on this question, if i SIM a preseason game of the team i control, how do i get the computer to substitue players in like a normal preseason game would do? I simmed the first week controlling TEN and no backups played.

in your strategy, set it to play backups.

I can't find the "PLay Back-ups" button or check box. Please screenshot it.

On the Strategy screen there's a drop down list on the right. It most likely says Plays Mostly Starters right now.

How can I screen shot.

I hit the strategy tab, and the only options I have are:
The screen says "Viewing" next to that are game plan and play book
There are three drop downs, one says Offense, Defense, and then "Use Coaches".

I have scrolled through each option in strategy for both the Game Plan and the Play Book. I can not find the drop down described above.
