"Normal" Version vs Steam Version (Activation limit)

Is there any difference between the versions regarding the activation of the game on multiple computers?

I plan on installing it on at least 3 of my computers so if I can't do it with the WS Store version I'd buy the Steam one when it's available (only that I'd prefer to get the WS one given that I've tried the demo on a Mac laptop and it's working, whether I can't know for sure if the Steam one would).

So, is there any activation limit with the normal version? Thanks!
