Version 2.08 - Cant Update

1) I have the program and all related folders closed
2) When I download the latest patch from that same link provided in Patch Upgrade post, and then run it, I eventually get the following error -
"Another version of this product is already installed...to configure or remove the existing version of the product, use Add/Remove Product..."

Should I uninstall before I update to 2.08? I 'm almost sure I don't need to uninstall, but I'm just desperate to figure out what to do.

I had the same issue. I unistalled the game and installed from the patch download and it has worked fine.

The same goes for me. I was very surprised and disturbed. Uninstall old version, install 2.0.8 - works.

Shouldn't need to uninstall though. This should be fixed...

I had an owner unable to install the game again after uninstalling.

Yea, there is an issue with the installer. Will fix and repost. Workaround is to uninstall/reinstall... you won't lose any data (this is what the installer does, it just does it automagically).
