Game uninstallation

Game uninstallation

Postby will1993 » Tue Feb 20, 2018 1:15 pm

I am trying to deregister and uninstall the game because I think my exe file got corrupt. But when I turn the game on and try to load an old save, it doesn't load, I get a parameter null and void message and I can't access anything.

Can I just delete the entire file folder from my system or is there a way I have to get into it to deregister it?

more likely it is your savegame that is corrupt.

try going to your save folder ...//mydocuments/wolverine/DDSPF/leagues/ and deleting the .bin file and renaming the .bak file to what the bin file was called.

If the game runs and you can create new leagues just fine then it's not a problem with the .exe file and there should be no reason to uninstall/reinstall.

If the game does not run, then uninstall using Windows Add/Remove programs, reboot, and install the latest version again.

If the game runs, but your league won't load, try creating a new league. If no leagues work, uninstall, reboot, and reinstall and try again.

If it's just the one single league look for a .bin file and a .bak file. The .bak file is created as a backup copy of the .bin file if it ever gets corrupted. You can rename the .bak to .bin and load the league as normal. If there is no .bin file, and there is no .bak file, then something really went wrong, and you'll have to create a new league instead.

If uninstall/reboot/reinstall doesn't work take a look at viewtopic.php?f=256&t=28502
