Oh wow now I'm totally confused -
I thought from this post in particular that you said "FL" should be where you place your best wide receiver (opposing my thinking that "FL" would be WR3, a slot). Therefore, NB, which covers the "FL", should be the best CB on the team.
You said in an earlier post in this thread - "We'd need to go back in and set the FL label to the third WR depth chart slot, and then adjust all of the plays and formation to make sure that FL is actually lining up in the slot...We'll be putting a bigger emphasis on plays, slots, labels, etc. in the next version to help clear up some of these inconsistencies." So, this means this change has been done? Perhaps 2.0.11 fixed this? The timing matches up.
Basically what you're saying is we need to change the depth charts based on your next opponent, where they actually put their receivers and counter appropriately. You mention assigning per play, but I don't know how you would do that unless you can quickly change depth charts in-game. Can you do this?
So based on what you just said, sounds like I was right when I started this post that FL is a slot-receiver, yes?
Finally, dime coverage - NB1 assigned to TE, NB2 to FL?
