Playing in an online league after the free agency period was over the owners in my league claimed free agents but they didn't stick. I'd see that they made claims but they wouldn't go through. Now we're in week 2 and they tried to make similar claims but after claiming them the players have disappeared from the game and none of the players are on any of the teams.

Basically if a player is claimed they're added to a list in the team import. When the commissioner imports the team exported files it goes through and signs the players to the teams that win the claims. The only time players are removed from the free agent list is if they are added to a team.

Are you sure a CPU team didn't sign the players, or that they're not still in the free agency list?

There's no mention of any of the players signing on the transactions page

So I was able to load your league, process claims, and I see the Outlaws signed 1. Seemed like it worked okay... guy shows up on the roster.

What I'm not sure about is players disappearing. Try this... on the Search screen click on View Active, then click back on View All and see if that changes the view.

I just tested it as well and was able to sign a player.

Since processing seems to work now it's going to be hard to identify what caused it. Looking through the code I don't see anything obvious. If it happens again and you have time, can you stop processing and let me know? If you don't publish a new file I should be able to pull down the file and process the imports locally and recreate it. It won't affect your league, but it may delay you for a day or so.

Question, how are ties with new leagues determined before any real games are played?

You mean during preseason before there are actual games? I'd have to check the code but I'm pretty sure it goes down to a coin flip.
