Assign Player to D-League

Hey! I am a new player. How do I assign one of my rookies to the D-League. I'm trying to do this after my fantasy draft and before the D-League draft. I'm on the roster screen, but the only options available are trade and release. Appreciate your help! Thanks!

If the player is eligible the "assign d-league" button will become active and you click it to send him to the d-league
