- (9) 2012 Miami beat (8) 2000 Lakers. This is one I'm definitely iffy about, Shaq might dominate and win the series for Los Angeles.
- (12) 1984 Lakers beat (5) 1998 San Antonio.
- (4) 2016 Golden State beats (13) 2007 Boston.
- (2) 1986 Lakers beat (15) 1982 Philadelphia.
- (10) 2013 San Antonio beats (7) 1988 Detroit. Though this is the one I'm most unsure of because if coaches were taken out of it, I think Detroit would win.
- (6) 1990 Chicago beats (11) 2008 Lakers.
- (3) 1985 Boston beats (14) 2003 Detroit. sadly. This is a defensive power house though, who knows.

Second Round
- (1) 1995 Chicago beats (9) 2012 Miami.
- (4) 2016 Golden State beats (12) 1984 Lakers.
- (2) 1986 Lakers beat (10) 2013 San Antonio.

- Almost a rematch, but I personally think 1995 Chicago > 1990, so again (4) 2016 Golden State beats (6) 1990 Bulls, wins the Finals.
