I'm very new at the game, just purchased it last week...

I'm not sure what was accomplished in the youtube video... it looked to me like you created a player named "a.a." and put that player on the Lakers (actually the L.A. Waves)...

but then, when you showed the "Waves" roster, I didn't see any player named a.a.

What exactly was accomplished in that video?

I'm wondering if i can create two historical pre-1976 teams (e.g. 70 Lakers and 70 Knicks) and play them against each other... is that possible?

That was showing how to download a roster file and create a league with it. The "A A" player was the user's name for himself in the game so he would be the general manager. That was not creating a player to play on the LA team
