(CTD) Opening Game of Season - Default League

I am playing as a General Manager (local game) in a Development League. The setup is Default. I get through the League draft fine, and then I simulate to the day before my first game. The game then simulates the other matches for the day before stopping and then crashing.

I have restarted 3 times and created the league afresh, but it has had the same problem each time.

Without looking my guess would be a missing person in the depth chart or sub matrix somewhere. If you want to submit the files to support we can look - look under the help icon in the game for instructions on submitting them

Do you mean an AI team may have this problem?
One thing I have noticed is my team has only 11 players. All other teams have 13-15 players. Is that an issue?
Besides that all other teams have a completed depth chart and sub-matrix.

We will take a look at the files shortly but if you only have 11 players I can almost assure you that's the problem. Sign a 12th and see if the error goes away

Okay. Yep. Signing a 12th player fixed it. Maybe a pop up saying you do not have enough players on the roster rather than a CTD?

It should be giving a popup message - will have to look into why it is not
