Edit Schedule

How do you edit the schedule? I can access the various schedules using access, but I can't figure out what to do with the file (for example, if the default is a 42 game schedule and I want a 40 game schedule, what do I need to do in the .dat file).

I'm having this same issue. You have to manually go in and delete two games for each team, but have to be sure you don't mess with the dates and other scheduling such as the playoffs and what not. I haven't gotten a clear answer when I asked this question a while back.
