Players regressing

I’m sure this is something I’m doing in training, but my players all regress. My best players are always freshman, and then they get worse. What am I doing wrong? I downed a bunch of their training because they were always complaining about being tired. So what’s the happy medium? How much physical training do I need to do to make them progress without constantly being fatigued?

I dont know i always prioritize Coaches with development and recruiting and never had my players regressing except these with very low Work ethic

Yeah. If you are custom setting training and any player has less than 4 training points on an attribute, or over 23 total, or isn't assigned to any schedule, you will see regression. Older players are also going to regress.

Same for me. The second year everyone on the team had a drop, including some huge ones of 25+ point drops. I'll try to reproduce it and post a screenshot, but this pretty much killed my career and is sort of game breaking....

I can't post a screen shot, but I kept the same coaches as the previous 2 seasons (the ones that I started with) and ran pretty much the same training plan: 6, 7, 7, 5

I reloaded the same save and fired all coaches and hired the 3 best at training that I could find and again went with 6, 7, 7, 5 for training and got worst results:
