Play Calling Question

When playing a game is there s something that shows what formation the offense is in prior to the snap?

This is what I brought up last year, this needs to be added or I am not buying the game. In football you can always see what personnel are on the field and then sub accordingly.

I bought the 17 version, but the thing that keeps me from playing is in a single series of downs a team will be wishbone on first down, pro set on second and spread on third.

It was that way same in the 18 demo. A school may switch during the season if things aren't going well, but not within a single game.

We can look at this for next version. Right now it's not there... but I believe the offense always calls the play first, so we should be able to add a label to let people know what formation they're in.

As far as offenses going into multiple formations, you're right, the default playbooks tend to have much more random plays and formations. In future versions we'll look at cleaning those up a bit so that teams only leverage a couple of formations the coaches prefer.
