After starting a new season there are some of last years recruits still on the recruiting screen and the scholarships and recruiting points did not reset.
is this normal.

Have you gotten to signing day yet? If not, that is probably what you are seeing (the stragglers).

No I haven't
I'm very new to the game and I'm not sure how to go to signing day, can you tell me where to find it.

I must have missed it, I'm 4 weeks into the season now and the recruits are still there

its automatic, im not sure which recruits you are referring to now.

On signing day the ones who committed last season are moved to the teams they committed to and a new recruiting class is generated, so you will always see people on the recruiting screen.

Does your roster have no freshmen?

My roster does have freshman, the recruits I'm referring to are on the recruiting screen, they still have recruiting points and scholarship offers on them.

The recruiting points and scholarships available are at 0. they did not reset. I don't have any thing to offer to new recruits on the new season recruiting screen.

do you have any seniors on your team? Scholarships and recruitingpoints are partly determined by the amount of available rosterspots next season.

Yes I do have seniors, I think I understand now what your saying.
But do I remove the points from the recruits that were left over from last season?

do you have autorecruit on? If so then that has allocated the points and scholarships for you.

(note that CPU teams will use autorecruit by default.)
