I just bought the game and was trying to add a walk-on player to the team. I click on the button but nothing happens. I saw another post on this, but I didn't see an answer. How do I get this feature to work?

Are you by cahnce in an online league?

But I can't get it to work in an online league - and it's kind of a show stopper for some of our GMs

You need to be logged into a team to get it to work I believe.

Sure - we're all logged in...still doesn't work...

I cut every player on my team - couldn't add any walk-ons - button just flat out doesn't work.

But in my single player save game - it works fine.

So any word on this from development?

We have a GM in our league who has 2 QB's - one just got injured for 12 weeks and one just went down for 6 - so he has no QB's - the game doesn't seem to allow us to move another position player into the QB slot - and since none of us can add walk ons - we are essentially BLOCKED...kind of a critical defect...

Basically Add Walkon is a Commissioner level action to make it easy for commissioners to get teams back up to roster minimums. But cutting a player is a team owner level action. So for some Career leagues you're both "commissioner" and team owner and can do both. But for online leagues it's a bit different where the teams have to cut players, then export, then the commissioner can log in and add walkons to get past the issue.
