DDS College Football 2018 Real World Mod

I believe I have located why this happens.
The Real World Mod places files in the C:\Users\Username\Documents\Wolverine Studios\DDSCF 2018\Leagues\NCAA\HTML\Images\Logos folder.
Inside here I can see that files have been created for the Endzones. 1_ez.png, 2_ez.png etc... these are stretched images of the actual team logo, 1.png.

I am going to try and script something that can fix this.

the real world mod does not include or create the endzones. when a new league is created, the game bases it off the logo file automatically. it also doesn’t place the files in the directory you mention. when you create the league, the game copies stuff to the league directory you mention above,

Thank you slybelle1 for the explanation. I will continue experimenting with a script to see if this is correctable.

i believe the only way fixable would be to replace the auto created end zones with non stretched versions but you would ave to know the id number each time which i believe would be different. dont believe
you can just remove them either since you would then need to go into the game to unassign them since end zones not tracked in xml file.

the best hope might be for the developers to include in a patch to not auto assign endzones when not included.

Quick update, each time I launched the game, my manual end zones were getting replaced with the auto created stretched ones again.
So I made the manual end zone read only so Windows could not overwrite it. Tried loading up a save game and also a new game, my file was not changed but the end zone was still an auto stretched one.

* EDIT to add in further testing.

Sly I can't get the file to work. I download your Mod here and go through the steps but it doesn't show up in the game when I go to start a league. It still shows the generic logos and names. Am I missing a step?

This mod installs to your DDSCF18 folder. If you copy those files to your DDSCF19 folder it seems to work other than the endzone issue.

Note that you may need to close the game and re-launch. Also note that this will only work on new leagues and will not affect existing ones.

Also note:

When you create your league does it add a "Leagues" folder there? The mod may be installing to a different location than the game thinks your leagues are in. When you create a new game it should create a DDSCF19/Leagues/*leaguename* folder which holds your league .bin file. If the .bin files and the leagues folder isn't there you'll have to look in some of your other document folders for a similar DDSCF19 folder.

Might be a dumb question -- I don't have DDSCF18. Is it mandatory to have that version if I want to use this mod for DDSCF19 (since I would need to copy the files over)? Or is there a workaround for this?
