Question about editing rosters

Is there a way to edit rosters outside of the game, or would you need to go through each player on every team within the game to do so? I have College Football 2020.

I suspect there is an XML file with rosters in it, and I have had good luck using XML Notepad from Microsoft for editing. I am currently working on an alternate P5 league, so I haven't gone looking for a roster file yet.
